Return Process (7-Day Return*)

1. Generate Return Authentication Code

Call the Store Phone Number (310-734-7878) to obtain the Return Authentication Code (RAC).

If your order has more than one product, please generate separate Return Authentication Code (RAC) for each product.

Each Return Authentication Code (RAC) has a validity period. Please ensure that we receive the Returns within this time limit otherwise We will not accept the Returns.

2. Prepare Your Return Package:

Package your return and remember to include all original packaging material. Please write the Return Authentication Code (RAC) on the outside of the box you are returning.

3. Ship It:

(Please note that FedEx and UPS will only insure packages up to $500. For items worth more than $500, please ship your package through USPS, insured for the total value of the contents.)

Loose Diamond 3 Day Return Policy

Returns on our loose diamonds, rings made using “design your ring” feature, pre-set engagement and wedding rings, custom jewelry, custom jewelry with a center diamond or a gemstone, are a bit different. Since our prices on the loose diamonds are the LOWEST on the web, we rarely have anyone wanting to return a diamond purchased from our site. To maintain our competitiveness, all Certified Loose Diamond purchases come with a 7-Day policy Money Back Guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Certified Loose Stone purchase or with your customized setting, you have 7-day policy from date of receipt to obtain an RAC Number and return the item to us. Receiving RAC number alone doesn’t mean that the item can be returned after 7-day policy. The Warehouse must receive the item within 7-day policy of original delivery date in order to receive a full refund. All Certified Stones must be returned with the original Diamond Gemological Grading Certificate and appraisal. Returns that are not accompanied by the original certificate will be subject to a certification replacement fee ranging between $200 and $10,000.

To return a diamond or jewelry item to CRAIG SHELLY, please follow the below shown process:

  1.     For US Customers, call for a Return Authorization Code (RAC CODE).
  2.     For security purpose, please do not write the word(s) diamond and/or jewelry on your package.
  3.     Place all the original packaging in the box, including the appraisal and the diamond certificate.
  4.     If you have received any free gift along with the purchase, it must be returned too. No refund will be made otherwise.

On your invoice, if the price of the item you’re returning is listed as:

  1. Less than $500: You can ship it via any carrier. Be sure to ship your item fully insured, and request a return receipt with an adult signature for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination and is signed by the receiver.

  2. More than $500: Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail™, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt  with a proof of signature from the receiver for confirmation that your shipment has reached CRAIG SHELLY. * (FedEx® and UPS® will not insure merchandise over $500.)

Once your return is received, CRAIG SHELLY Quality Assurance department will review it. You will receive e-mail notification regarding your return or exchange within seven business days.

Any unauthorized, improperly packaged, or non-insured packages will be returned to sender. Items that show signs of wear or have been resized or altered (by a jeweler other than CRAIG SHELLY), engraved, altered, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted or processed for return.
